Abstract
We consider the classFof endo-Artinian modules, i.e. the modulesMwhich satisfying thedescending chain condition for endomorphic images: any descending chainImf1⊃Imf2⊃···⊃Imfn⊃ ···is stationary, wherefi∈End(M). LetAbe the class of Artinian modules. It is clearthat every ArtinianR-moduleMis endo-Artinian, soA⊂F, but the converse is not true. Indeed,Qis a non-ArtinianZ-module which is endo-Artinian. The aim of this work, is to characterize perfectcommutative rings for whichFandAare identical.
