Abstract

Pristomerus sulci Mahd. & Kolu, is a parasitic ichneumonid infesting Holcocera pulyerea Meyr a serious predator of Indian lac insect Kerria lacca Kerr. The longevity and fecundity of P. sulci gradually increase in accordance with food. The endoparasite soon after emergence requires food without which the rate of adult mortality is heavy.
