Abstract

The present paper deals with a new species of Genus Senga (Dollfus, 1934) It differs from all the earlier reported species in having Scolex triangular, anterior end pointed, rounded and posterior end broad; hooks 58 in number; mature segments acraspedot, rectangular; testes 40-45 in number; cirrus pouch preovarian, medium in size, vagina thin, coiled; ovary compact, bilobed; Vitellaria granular in 4-5 rows on lateral side; eggs operculated, yellow in colour.
