Abstract

The current medical resources and healthcare services are being integrated by researchers aiming towards a computerised healthcare system. While the Internet of Things (IoT) is having a profound impact on many industries, our focus is on the role it is playing in medical research. This research looks at how IoT has benefited healthcare, how it has been used there, and where it may run into trouble in the future. Our research should be useful for both researchers and industry professionals by shedding light on the enormous potential of IoT in the medical arena and highlighting key issues in IOMT. The academic community would benefit from this study by learning about IoT's potential healthcare uses. Academics would benefit from this information since it would shed light on IOT's history of service to the healthcare industry.
