Elucidating the panoramic mechanism of coronavirus-host immune interaction is a strategy for disease surveillance, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and immunity assessment of COVID-19. A robust carbon-based nano light vaccine technology system contributes to achieving the core scientific issues of this strategy. In this review, we state the latest prevention and control strategy of carbon-based nano light vaccine, and their broad-spectrum resistance to high transmissible and pathogenic variants. Furthermore, we cover the immune response to SARS-CoV-2 under carbon-based nano light vaccine intervention, and finally evaluate the efficacy of carbon-based nano light vaccines and their interactive mechanisms. The search for highly efficient, conserved T cell epitopes provide a basis for development of a new generation of T cell vaccine.
