Abstract

The outer diameter, angle of origin, strength and deformability of the upper, lower anterior and posterior inferior cerebellar arteries in adults aged 20-74 years were studied. Research material: 179 samples of cerebellar arteries obtained during autopsy of adults without visible cerebrovascular pathology; 24 preparations of arterial complexes "Arterial circle - cerebral arteries". Research methods: traditional anatomical (preparation, microscopy) and experiments on uniaxial longitudinal tension on a tensile testing machine "Tira Test 28005". It was found that the superior cerebellar arteries are characterized by the largest outer diameter, the angle of origin, the greatest strength and extensibility. The inferior anterior and posterior inferior cerebellar arteries do not have significant differences in the studied parameters. Noted
