COMPARATIVE EVALUATION OF TWO MODELS OF EXPERIMENTAL CARDIOPATIC AMYLOIDOSIS

To study systemic cardiopathic amyloidosis in an experiment, the authors for the first time obtained models in old rats, which makes it possible to study the etiology and pathogenesis of this pathology, as well as to develop methods of prevention and treatment. The comparative analysis of functional and morphological changes made it possible to conclude that for further study of cardiopathic amyloidosis, it is more expedient to apply the technique with the addition of rat myogenate homogenate, since in this case, alterative changes in the heart are most pronounced with minimal changes in other organs and tissues.
