Abstract

The main goal of green synthesis is to synthesize nanoparticles (NPs) with lesser cost and to reduce chemical wastes. Green technology is a method of synthesising NPs with high potential qualities that can be used to overcome application limits in a variety of sectors. It is more cost-effective than chemical synthesis. It is free of hazardous chemicals, does not necessitate expensive equipment and is inexpensive. Metal oxide nanoparticles (NPs) are commonly synthesised using chemical-reducing and capping chemicals, which limits their biomedical potential. Green synthesis is an eco-friendly process that boosts the unique physical and chemical features of nanomaterials, according to researchers. We explore the green approach to synthesis metal oxide NPs and its important applications in numerous industries such as energy and the environment, aerospace, medicine, biotechnology, and others in this critique. The present study discusses several important advantages of biosynthesis of NPs with plant extracts. The synthesis method is eco-friendly and economical because it involves inexpensive and non-toxic materials. Size and shape controls of metal oxide NPs are important protocols for various applications.
